This one is for all you gamers who LOVE to LAN.   It is much faster than finding an ip on the server, then typing in that longwinded address, and hoping your fingers didn't slip.  Anyway, all you have to do is type the name of the computer you want to connect to in the "ip" place of any game.  Your computer will automatically detect its ip, and you're ready to play! 

Note:  This will only work if you are playing across a private network and not across the internet.
